Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

Plans

It was a bank holiday, we were going to York there was really no excuse not to.

Expedition

Parking a bit up the road we dithered for a few minutes trying to figure out which field the hashpoint was in. After a false start in the wrong direction we walked down the road and entered the field next to the one containing the hash as it was for sale and thus empty.

The field with the hashpoint contained cows which would not normally be a problem. However as it was May there were also a few bulls, but as all the animals were at the other end of the field we decided to risk it. Crawling under the fence (some of the more cautious members of the group stayed behind here) we wandered into the middle of the field trying to get the distance counter on my phone GPS down as low as possible. At this point the field's occupants decided we were unwanted guests and started moving towards us in an aggressive manner so we decided to scarper.

Considering the accuracy of my phone GPS I'm guessing that at some point we were actually on the hash so I'm calling this one a success (Yay first geohash acheived!).
