Location

Rural area in Villa Esquiú. Córdoba, Argentina.

Participants

Plans

Being Saturday, try to reach the hash at 4pm. Seems achievable, being in a road in a rural area 10km from the city. Also, if everything goes well, probably tomorrow we can try the Consecutive Geohash.

Expedition

Actually, we got our things together after 4:30pm after the little guy had his usual nap after lunch. The weather was sunny, so we decided to take it easy and treat this expedition as a family getaway for a few hours. We drove there, getting to know Villa Esquiú, a somewhat rural area NE from Córdoba city. The road was paved so we got quickly near the hashpoint and parked the car.

Funny this was that a road that appeared in Google Maps was simply not there. Probably outlined but still not facing its actual status as road, there was a big grove, along an irrigation canal with some mud but no water.

So, yours truly got into the trees while the rest of the family waited in the car, and did those last 700m on foot. Finally, the hashpoint was reached, laying near a tree next to a crop field. Put poster in place, took a couple pictures and returned, worrying because I heard dogs barking near my location. Got to the car, took some pictures of the road and that was all.
