Along the line of a dry creek in an urban park in the suburb of Florey, ACT.

Before going to work, call by briefly. (After work will be difficult.)
Expedition

Before going to work, I went a little way off-track. The nearest adjacent road was "No Stopping" along that side, and there was an extra fence that I had not counted on. It was a little way off the St Francis Xavier High School's tall fence. I marked out XKCD using sticks and bark (per picture.) I took pictures of the surroundings, then went to work.
