Plans

Shane and Kenny were going on a cycle ride to enjoy a sunny day when they were on strike. After they had decide to take the train to Perth and cycle to Dunblane, Shane noticed that a very nice route would take them within a few hundred yards of the hash. Kenny agreed to investigate.

Expedition

The weather was beautiful, and the quiet tracks and roads to get to the hash were a joy to cycle. The track in to the forestry area was easily found, and we got to within 100 feet without getting off the bikes. At first glance the forest looked inpenetrable, but after clambering over some drainage ditches and ducking under a few branches it turned out to be easy enough to get to the hash. Kenny ate the pie he'd bought in Perth, hoping that would earn the Pie achievement - but we should have read the rules first. We got back to the bikes and had the rest of our lunch with a beautiful view just around the corner. No tablecloth though, so no picnic achievement. It was also Towel Day, but we only realised that later. In there an award for completely failing to get three achievements simultaneously? We cycled on to Dunblane and has a superb day out anyway.
