Expedition
I set off in the morning and drove to the pretty little village of Lage Vuursche. It's located in the middle of the Utrecht forests and is popular with hikers and cyclists. Its most famous resident is Princess Beatrix, the former Queen, who lives in a small moated castle in the northeast of the village.
After snapping a few pictures I went on a stroll through the forest and looked for the hash. It turned out to be located about 50 metres off a trail. After reaching the point I walked back to the village and had a pancake with fresh strawberries for lunch. Then I drove on to the former Soesterberg Air Base (a few kilometres to the south) to visit the new National Military Museum, which was pretty impressive.
