As hinted at on my [[2016-12-07 43 -78|last expedition]] I recently lost my job and am in the process of looking for new opportunities. My previous employer provided us with Transition services which are located on Harris Hill Road and technically, the transition company's office could be considered my 'office' where I'm working on my new 'job' of Job Seeker. At a Status Check-up class this morning, I checked the hash and was pleased to see not only was it just over a mile away, but it was just off a road in what looked like an industrial park, making it easily reachable and most likely accessible. I say all that because I think I now qualify for an Almost Honorable Mention for the Cubicle Geohash, which is also sort of appropriate since the Transition company is Almost my office too. Over the past month, I've taken classes/seminars at least 2-3 times a week there and have done a lot of job seeking preparation so I think I can actually say this is my current office. If anyone has objections to this claim, feel free to leave them on the discussion page.

There was a little GPS dance but I got my pictures and headed for home. It took almost an extra hour to get home, and the snow was really bad at times, but everyone was being careful and I eventually made it. On the way, however, I got to experience the rare Snow-Lightning. I saw a big flash and heard the rumble of thunder very shortly after, but it was just the one.

As hinted at on my last expedition I recently lost my job and am in the process of looking for new opportunities.

After our Morning 'Check-up', we had a catered lunch from Salsarita's which was delicious. We had taco/burrito fillings and X-mas cookies. During lunch, we chatted and sort of networked with other people in the same transition state we are all in. Getting to be 13:00, I could see the snow starting to pick up, I decided I better be on my way as I had to drive South and through the Lake Effect snow bands. Leaving the parking lot, it was really coming down, but the roads were still very drive-able as I made my way to the hash slowly but without issues. I saw a sign indicating that there was no parking on the roads, so I pulled into the parking lot by the hash and made my way over.

Further note: While I didn't have a Thermometer with me, the weather report has the high for the area well below 32 F/0 C so I feel comfortable claiming a Frozen Geohash as well.
