Ten years after the foundation of geohashing was enough time to bring this sport to Burgos. Had it been earlier and we wouldn't have been prepared.

I learned about geohashing through the original comic about one year ago, when I was going through earlier comics I didn't know about. I've been checking for nearby geohashes on and off during this time, but never had time and found one close enough at the same time till 2018-07-31.

I like biking, so I prefer this way of getting to a geohash rather than taking the car. It also feels more like an adventure, specially if you print the map beforehand and are able to reach the location without your phone's help.

I'm based in the Burgos, Spain graticule, but next academic year I'll try geohashing from the Groningen, Netherlands one.
