At some point, my app showed me a distance of 70 meters to the hash - which I had to go onto the field also. Both pulse and blood pressure rised a little as I started my little 'illegal' journey onto this field and I noticed how cars slowed down to watch what I was doing there... hm... tried not to get bothered by that and only two minutes later I reached the hash, made some pics and a screenshot and got back to the road as fast as I could haha...

Plans

Drive to the hash in the morning and do some 'illegal' walking on a harvested field, hoping to be faster as any farmer that might get alarmed by one idiot walking on his field, staring on his mobile phone...

Expedition

Since today's hash was only 5 kilometers away from my home, I knew exactly where to 'find' it - on a harvested field near Wahlhausen.

So, I drove to the spot with my car 10:30 am and arrived 10 minutes later. The main road is pretty quiet here, only a few cars passed by during my action to reach the hash. So I parked my car and walked some 100 meter on the so called 'Kolonnenweg', an old relict from the time where east and west germany were separated by the wall. The former border is exactly in this area and the road I walked leads to a museum, showing old parts of the wall, east german military equipments like tanks, helicopters, uniforms, weapons et cetera... I live in west germany (Hessen) and the hash lays only 200 meters into the former east germany (Thuringia) [see my first picture]

Note: In times long before xkcd was born, this hash would actually have applied perfectly (but extremely dangerously!) for the 'crossing the border' achievement!

At some point, my app showed me a distance of 70 meters to the hash - which I had to go onto the field also. Both pulse and blood pressure increased a little as I started my little 'illegal' journey onto this field and I noticed how cars slowed down to watch what I was doing there... hm... tried not to get bothered by that and only two minutes later I reached the hash, made some pics and a screenshot and got back to the road as fast as I could haha...

So, this really was an easy one, after some weeks of inactivity!
