Thanks for the welcome, [[User:Michael5000|Michael5000]]!  I can assure you that it was not optimism from the satellite image that did anything.  When I got there in person it never once occurred to me that a 10 foot drop at a 30+ degree angle covered in ice and snow would be any problem for a front wheel drive sedan.  If I would actually look at the imagery available, it probably would be a good thing. :-)  Happy Holidays!
