The Drag-Along achievement can be earned by bringing along a friend or aquaintence who has not heard of geohashing before. The dragee does not need to be a reader of xkcd, though it helps. It does not count toward the drag-along achievement if you have to use duct tape, rope, or forcibly move the person.

- ArtInLA made it to the 34, -118 coordinates on 2008-05-24 with Erin. Proof supplied here.
- Wooglin received this achievement in the 40,-81 graticule on 2008-06-22 with friend Alex. Proof supplied here.
- Jevanyn achieved this on June 28th in Westfield, New Jersey when he brought his wife and son. He also took his son on an "adventure" on July 26th to Marlboro.
- Alex and Chris achieved this on June 29th in 40,-82 with their new friend Grace.
