tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

While planning the trip on tuesday, I zoomed the maps to tha max and found that the geohash is on somebodys property, very close to the house - yay, chance for ambassador achievement! I printed the [[:Image:Ambassador-DE.png|diplomatic passport]] at my university and was ready to hash - except I wasn't sure yet, what kind of transportation I'd use. To go by train, I'd have to change trains multiple times and buy a ticket. Luckily Sarah lives right between my university and my home and agreed to drive me to the hash after some convincing.

I left the train at Lenzburg and Sarah was already waiting for me so we started right away. On the way I noticed that a Tron Achievement would be possible, but after missing a junction (it was the GPS's fault not mine!! ;) we had to take a u-turn and the chance was gone.

We arrived at the address around 1625, and I fired up my GeohashDroid. The first lock located the hash some meters away from the house, nearly on the street (as against google earth which had it located on the other side of the house). As we approached, GPS started to act weird (despite the clear sky view), varying from some 2ish meters to 100 meters. We also found the hash to be lying in some sort of extension of the house. Already discouraged about the poor GPS reception and the spot lying in the house (I'd say most swiss people are quite suspicious about guys from the internet, invading their home), I chickened and chose not to ring the doorbell.

Furthermore, we totally forgot to take pictures of the location and ourselves, so the only proof for the attempt are the screenshots off my phone. As we left around 1635, nobody else showed up.

Expedition

Living east of the 30W Time Zone Rule has its benefits, one of them being the fact that I know to next days hash in the evening. I was excited when I found out that tuesdays hash is getting conveniently close to me. Unfortunately, I had quite a busy shedule for this evening and didn't know if I could fit the hash in there. While planning the trip on tuesday, I zoomed the maps to tha max and found that the geohash is on somebodys property, very close to the house - yay, chance for ambassador achievement! I printed the diplomatic passport at my university and was ready to hash - except I wasn't sure yet, what kind of transportation I'd use.
