Hi :)

Hey :)

Are you planning to do any geohashing in the next weeks? I know hashpoints are not predictable, but if one happened to be near Regensburg on a weekend, would you consider going?  [[User:Dawidi|Dawidi]] 16:27, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

you don't seem to be reading your discussion page very frequently, if at all...

Are you still around, and do you still want to go to a hash someday?
What about [http://irc.peeron.com/xkcd/map/map.html?date=2008-07-19&lat=49&long=11&zoom=8&abs=1 this saturday's location] in the Nuremberg graticule? Duggendorf is reachable on the RVV bus route 12. We could meet there, walk to the hashpoint, and then on to Laaber, where you could get on a train to go back to Regensburg? I checked the schedules, it would be feasible (and wouldn't cost more than a few euros). I think, looking at the size of the graticules, it's rather unlikely we'll get a spot that is more easily reachable.

I'd even bring a fellow xkcd reader to achieve the "drag-along" award, so we'd be three already. [[User:Dawidi|Dawidi]] 13:59, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

That might be an idea for Regensburg too, except that a "remote and inaccessible location" will be any that you cannot reach easily from a nearby bus stop or train station. Of course, that still would require you to respond to contact attempts on Friday afternoons ;-)

Hey :)

you don't seem to be reading your discussion page very frequently, if at all...

Are you still around, and do you still want to go to a hash someday?

Quoting from the Canberra page:

In the Canberra graticule it is generally agreed that should the Saturday geohash fall in a remote and inaccessible location, we may instead opt for visiting a geohash location from earlier in the week.
