Today's Location: [Ottumwa, IA]
The Ottumwa, Iowa graticule is at latitude 41, longitude -92. All points in the graticule are on land except those on rivers or lakes.
Features
Ottumwa is near the southern border of the graticule, which also features Oskaloosa, Montezuma, Grinnell, a significant chunk of I-80, and corn. Lots of corn.
Special Conditions
As of June, 2008 the Des Moines River and much of the surrounding area is flooded. Please check road conditions with the Iowa DOT. If today's location is under floodwater, it probably won't be much fun to geohash there, so please try to find an alternate (preferably dry) location.
