This adventure was somewhat doomed from the start, as the hash location was about 40km out to sea, and I don't have a boat, plane, or that kind of ability to swim. Nonetheless, hoping for some kind of miracle (maybe a hoarde of velocirapters to give me motivitation to swim that far?), I biked to the most direct North point that I could hazard a guess at. Stumped as to how to complete my journey, I instead waited around, curious as to whether there would be any fellow XKCD-ers about.

Unsurprisingly, I was just about the only person there. I left a calling card in the sand just in case, enjoyed the (slightly windy) atmosphere of the beach for a while, and then headed home, my first (if failed) geohash attempt under my belt.

The Ever So Exciting Tale

This adventure was somewhat doomed from the start, as the hash location was about 40km out to sea, and I don't have a boat, plane, or that kind of ability to swim. Nonetheless, hoping for some kind of miracle (maybe a horde of velociraptors to give me motivation to swim that far?), I biked to the most direct North point that I could hazard a guess at.
