The Ever So Exciting Tale
This adventure was somewhat doomed from the start, as the hash location was about 40km out to sea, and I don't have a boat, plane, or that kind of ability to swim. Nonetheless, hoping for some kind of miracle (maybe a horde of velociraptors to give me motivation to swim that far?), I biked to the most direct North point that I could hazard a guess at. Stumped as to how to complete my journey, I instead waited around, curious as to whether there would be any fellow XKCD-ers about.
Unsurprisingly, I was just about the only person there. I left a calling card in the sand just in case, enjoyed the (slightly windy) atmosphere of the beach for a while, and then headed home, my first (if failed) geohash attempt under my belt.
