I wanted to cycle to this hash and my father asked if he could join, which I of course didn't refuse (also I'd get the Drag-along achievement this way!). The distance was projected to be 13 km because we wanted to take the scenic route through the countryside. But about three kilometres after we set off, someone drove past us on a scooter and lost his license plate right in front us (how unlikely is that?)! He shouted after him, but he didn't notice. So my father took it and tried to catch him, because he rode an electric bike and I didn't. I hurried after, finally catching sight of them after 2.5 km – my father had managed to catch him because the man had stopped on the way. What an exciting chase.

Now we were pretty far off our planned route. We decided to cycle to the spring of the Alster (maybe northern Germany's most well-known small river), which wasn't far, then drove past it and back to our original route, having taken a detour of over 3 km. The last portion of the way was through the ''Tangstedter Forst'', a huge forest, which was very quiet as no streets lay nearby. We arrived after almost 17 km, and I began my hashdance. The hash was located ''on'' a footpath right next to riding path, not even 2 m away. Another huge coincidence, as the path was only a meter wide and the distance between paths in the forest is around 200 m. Also, these were the only non-main paths in the forest that ran abreast. Additionally, the geohash was less than 10 m from the municipality border, and thus also the border of the Kreis (district). Reception was poor, but I found a spot where my location matched the marker and we settled there. I had brought a picnic blanket (plus napkins and biscuits) and juggling balls for the two achievements, so we ate and I showed off my newly learned juggling skills, which are still early in the beginner's phase, while my father filmed. As we wanted to take a different route back, I noticed I could get the Tron achievement, but had to get back to last junction.

So when we left, I pushed my bike through 50 m of forest, which wasn't easy because of frequent trunks and firs. I managed, but on the next path, thick trunks blocked the way. We did our best to navigate around them, and cycled back through Norderstedt, watching a marvelous sunset. We again took a scenic route rather than the streets, and I had to make sure I arrived at the house from the other side than I left. We got back home after over 29 km just before it got dark.

Now we were pretty far off our planned route. We decided to cycle to the spring of the Alster (maybe northern Germany's most well-known small river), which wasn't far, then drove past it and back to our original route, having taken a detour of over 3 km.
