Expedition
I left home shortly after 12:30 and cycled along the EuroVelo 5 until Rouffach. There the cycle way turns westwards towards Soultzmatt and the Vosges mountains. I went in the opposite direction and crossed the D83 highway to reach Ungersheim.
The coordinates were at the very end of a muddy farm track, between a meadow and a harvested corn field, east of the town. I noticed a captive balloon a couple of kilometers to the south of the geohash. As I had nearly a full hour left to go to Bollwiller and catch the next train, I decided to go investigate that balloon.
I found a cycle path going towards the balloon. It led me to a theme park: le Parc du Petit Prince (The Little Prince Park). The park advertises itself as the first aerial park of the world. Sounds great. Also, there is an aeropub! Unfortunately, the park was closed today. So no balloon and no Pub geohash for me (on the plus side, I would have missed my train).
I continued on the cycle path and arrived to an ecomuseum, also closed. Ungersheim seems to be an interesting place. I shall come back in a weekend.
Finally, I arrived in Bollwiller just in time to take my train to Colmar and go home.
