On a side road in Laste, a neighbourhood in eastern Trento.

Plans
My first geohash ever took place on the day after the day I discovered geohashing- close to home, fairly reachable, everything perfect. Then a streak of bad luck happened, with unreachable hashes when I had lots of time on my hands and fairly reachable goals when I was away all day. Tomorrow's hash is hardly a kilometer from my home. It is probably as close as I will ever get to a Couch Potato Achievement, probably!
So I don't really have plans- I can leave home pretty much whenever I want, it's not going to take me more than 30 minutes. It doesn't even feel like exploring!
I'll bring a GPS this time, to bring home some achievements for the first time (hopefully).
Expedition
It was scorching hot all day long in Trento today, so I decided to leave my expedition to the evening hours. At 7pm the temperature was nowhere close to the one I hoped, but I felt like going anyways
After just five minutes of walking I was reminded of one of life's important lessons: if you haven't charged your devices in a while, they will eventually run out of battery. My GPS died when I could still see my home. Good thing Google pictures were fairly clear and I knew exactly where the hashpoint was.
After another five minutes I understood that wearing the only black shirt I own was just as brilliant as going on a quest with an unloaded GPS. Once again, the fact that the hash was close to my house helped me a lot.
I arrived there, took some pictures and headed back without spending there more time than necessary. If I were in a The Sims sort of game, my hygiene bar would have been drastically red in that moment.
On my way home, I noticed a pair of abandoned panties on the sidewalk, which made for a last WTF moment before getting back.
