I fully support your claim of both the Water and Walking on Water achievements and would do the same in your place. I was a little skeptical about the Water one at first, but it does just say 'the Geohasher needs to be supported on top of the water'! Nice expedition! Still looking for my first Walking on Water achievement and am always a bit jealous reading these. Pedalpusher (talk) 17:28, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

: Thanks! Re "Still looking for my first Walking on Water achievement" – First I thought it should not be too difficult as you live in Upstate New York and to my knowledge have proper winters there. Then I looked at how much of the area is bodies of water. Ouch! Even I have to get lucky to get such a hashpoint worth attempting, but for you it is way more difficult and unlikely. Every location has its quirks, I guess. I wonder whether e.g. 2022-01-28_42_-79 could have worked out, but still, assuming that Lake Erie was frozen, you would have needed to drive 80+ km to the shore and to walk or ski several hundred metres to the hashpoint, so not something that one would do on a workday. I am sure you will have a chance some day! ― Kripakko (talk) 22:41, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
