Naomi, Emma and Alex were all housemates in Kew. Alex had done a few geohashes by this point, but Naomi hadn't. This particular geohash was very close to where I and EB were living in Camberwell. Somehow the idea emerged of Alex's entire household coming to join us for the hash.

(Written in 2022)

10 years later, neither Alex, EB nor I (Stevage) remember anything about this geohash. However, it turns out Naomi wrote about it at the time to her partner. Crucial messages amazingly stored for posterity. Dramatic reconstruction begins:

Naomi, Emma and Alex were all housemates in Kew. Alex had done a few geohashes by this point, but Naomi hadn't. This particular geohash was very close to where I and EB were living in Camberwell. Somehow the idea emerged of Alex's entire household coming to join us for the hash.

We met at the hash. Probably, EB and I walked down (perhaps my only Walk achievement), while Naomi drove in her trusty Alpha Romeo of great vintagereliable, if somewhat pedestrian, Toyota Corolla. The hash was just in someone's front yard, so quickly done.

Then we came back to our place for food (history does not record what was eaten) and "drinkies" (ditto). Naomi was very tired from netball, and slowly passed out on the couch, and eventually the floor.

The rest of the evening is similarly lost in the mists of time, but we can assume they all made it home safely at some point.
