* 4 August 2022 - I've now been outside in the sweltering British summer heat for extended periods of time for three days in a row now. i, unfortunately, am one of those people who, rather than tan, get sunburnt. The back of my neck and forearms are vibrant and blotchy and itch like mad. this sucks

A map I made by going to geohashing.info, taking a bunch of screenshots and stitching them all together.
It looks really low quality here but you can click on it to see the original file. I like maps, and with this one you could print it out or something
(note: i just noticed something wrong!)

i live in cambridge graticule.
no geohashes yet, but hoping to do one soon
i also like trains and fps games. the fun, fast-paced type

I'm currently off to the isle of wight for a week. The chance is probably quite slim that there'll be a geohash on the island, considering the fact that graticule is mostly water

one day i would like to get a virgin graticule. Currently, blyth looks feasible, but I don't actually have any means of getting there

interesting observations and thoughts

  • 30 July 2022 - The transport options between Ryde and Portsmouth are varied and rather well coordinated, with many options - a ferry to Ryde Pier Head, and from there the train into Ryde or further beyond, or the hovertravel that also takes you to right outside a train station. There's even a catamaran, although I did not see any
