Leaving a family gathering in Casco, I offered my sister a motorcycle ride into Portland... with a detour to catch a geohash. It was her second ride, and first multi-town trip. Today was my first geohash -- though I was excited about doing them since the 426 comic was posted. I hasn't checked thoroughly enough to realize I was taking my big heavy street bike down a dirt road. I also discovered that my motorcycle GPS is almost useless for foot navigation in the sticks. I'll definitely have to remember to bring the eTrex with me next time. Other than that, it was a short walk from the bike to the hash... and that's about that. The Lewiston graticle is no longer virgin.

Expedition

The Lewiston graticule is no longer virgin.
