I was still on crutches from having sprained my ankle the week before, but this hash was only 68 m from the road in a field in Kisdorf, so I felt like I had to at least try it. Again taking my mum's electric car, I drove to the spot, parked sketchily at the entrance to a meadow and hobbled over to the other side of the road. I made it through the coppice in front of the field, but soon noticed the hash was one field over, directly in front of a large house – and the field grew tall wheat. Usually, I would've ventured in, but in this state, I supposed I'd probably just lose balance on the uneven ground, fall over and unnecessarily trample the crops. Also, there'd be no chance of escaping if anyone approached me. So I left the field, disappointed, scrambled back over to the car and drove home. Slight consolation: Because I turned away due to my injury, I've technically fulfilled the requirements for the [[Trail of blood consolation prize]] – it does not say you have to sustain your injury during the expedition.

Slight consolation: Because I turned away due to my injury, I've technically fulfilled the requirements for the Trail of blood consolation prize – it does not say you have to sustain your injury during the expedition.
