Drive to Rommelhausen after work and do a little walk through the forest to reach the hash.

Expedition

Todays hash was located in a forest north of Rommelhausen. After quite a long abstinence this was going to be my first geohash for 2024 - actually even the first one since september 2023... Had a lot of changes in my life - met a new wife, sold my house, moved twice, got a new job - quite an exciting period, but now I feel settled again and so I decided to keep an eye on the geohashing map and felt that this one was really suitable to get back into it... So... drove to this small town called Rommelhausen, parked my car near this small forest and did a 300 meter walk to the geohash whcih was quite easy to locate, without a big hash-dance or whatsoever. The area was pretty swampy due to massive raining today and the days before, but I could locate the hash with ease - a mossy tree... Made some pics and went back to my car, drove home and started into a nice weekend...
