At noon, I walked to Osnabrück Central and took the train via Düsseldorf to Aachen-West.

There, I wanted to rent an e-bike like I did on my expedition to Orsbach nearly two years ago. Frustratingly, my account at the rental company had been "randomly selected for reverification" and I would not be able to rent anything until that process was complete. At the same time, there was no information on how to complete the verification, so I had to contact the help desk. I regretted not taking the bus to Avantis, which had left just before the app shenanigans began.

Two phone calls and an e-mail later, I had been recommended a different app that would let me rent the same exact bike, I would just have to create a new account, which fortunately worked. Soon enough, I was riding an e-bike and crossed the Dutch border, advancing towards Bocholtz. Unfortunately, due to the time lost to the bike rental company, I would not have time to stop for peanut butter at the local super market.

The coordinates were on a meadow. I approached them by walking between the meadow and an adjacent field, and then stepped a few meters into the meadow to reach the coordinates. Strangely, some of the plants looked like someone had been here recently. An animal, or perhaps another Geohasher? After recording proof, I left the meadow and cycled back to Aachen-West.

After returning the bike, I made it to the station just in time. I took the train via Düsseldorf to Osnabrück Central, and walked back home.
