The hashpoint was some twenty metres off the motorway. Walking in the motorway area is illegal, but as far as I could tell the hashpoint was legal to access from the forest since there was a cadastral boundary between it and the motorway.

Expedition

Winter is coming soon! It snowed a little in the weekend, and it was freezing, so the snow stayed on the ground for a few days. Today, the temperature was around 0 °C. I went cycling after work when the sun had already set and dusk was falling quickly.

The hashpoint was some twenty metres off the motorway. Walking in the motorway area is illegal, but as far as I could tell the hashpoint was legal to access from the forest since there was a cadastral boundary between it and the motorway.

I made my way to the small road some fifty metres to the south. It was closed with a barrier because it led to a construction site across the motorway, but I could still cycle on it to access the geohash. I did, parked the bike, walked though the forest and reached the hashpoint without much difficulty. Even though it was already dark, the road lamps provided enough light that I could move around without using my own lamp.

I cycled home afterwards. The length of the trip was about 18  kilometres in total.
