I set out at about 4:10 PM (I think a bit later than that) and arrived at 4:40 PM. The drive was fairly straightforward, except for the 6-lane roundabout, and there wasn't too much traffic at this time. There's not much else to say, honestly. If I can do my next hash on public transport reasonably, I will, because I think it makes for a more interesting description of an expedition.

I parked at a public car park, which had plenty of free spaces, and then crossed the street. Just like in [[2024-05-25_37_-6|my previous hash]], there was another park nearby where people were listening to music on speakers. However, that wasn't where I was supposed to go.

The hash spot was on the other side of the street. Is it really a street when it has two lanes for each direction, a median and trees on the sides? The map doesn't say it's an avenue, but I guess it might have been a street in the past. But I digress. Right there was a set of stairs, so I went down a few steps to take a screenshot of the geohash app and a few photos of the area around the hash. It was quite scenic for being urban, in my opinion. There's a direct view of the canal and another much larger park to the other side. If you walk north for a little bit, you can reach the end of the canal or cross a pedestrian bridge. On the other hand, if you go south, you'll find the much larger Puente del Alamillo, which I drove on to get here.

Location

In an entrance to Parque de San Jerónimo, a park along a canal in Sevilla.

Participants

Plans

Drive to the neighbourhood of San Jerónimo, which I've never been to on my own, park somewhere close and walk a little bit to the hash. Easy as that (hopefully). Ideally, I'd like to be there before 2:00 PM, but if I can't make it, I'll try in the evening.

Update (1:49 PM): I woke up later than usual and I think it's better if I go in the afternoon. Technically, I could make it now, but now is when people are starting to go back home from work. I didn't want to get stuck in traffic for too long.

Expedition

I set out at about 4:10 PM (I think a bit later than that) and arrived at 4:40 PM. The drive was fairly straightforward, except for the 6-lane roundabout, and there wasn't too much traffic at this time. There's not much else to say, honestly. If I can do my next hash on public transport reasonably, I will, because I think it makes for a more interesting description of an expedition.

I parked at a public car park, which had plenty of free spaces, and then crossed the street. Just like in my previous hash, there was another park nearby where people were listening to music on speakers.
