I was there at 4:11 PM, but didn't see anybody else who looked like a geohasher.  So far none of these meetups have actually resulted in me meeting anybody... looks like I just missed Million zillion, who arrived a few minutes after me.  According to the position shown on my iPhone's map, the hash spot is actually just off the median, in the leftmost eastbound lane of traffic.

About

On the median of Commercial Blvd, on the east side of the intersection with Andrews Ave. There is a walk-in clinic at the southeast corner and a Subway on the southwest corner.

Expedition

Million zillion

I arrived at about 4:40pm, local time, and parked at the walk-in clinic (possibly closed) at the corner, right in front of the geohash spot. I crossed to the median for an AGPS fix and some pictures, then left. Missing Dtobias was my fault - late as usual :). Maybe next week.

This intersection looks very typical of the slightly older residential parts of Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach.

I didn't get a picture of my GPS because GPS == camera == cell phone. This was my first successful geohash.

Dtobias

I was there at 4:11 PM, but didn't see anybody else who looked like a geohasher. So far none of these meetups have actually resulted in me meeting anybody... looks like I just missed Million zillion, who arrived a few minutes after me. According to the position shown on my iPhone's map, the hash spot is actually just off the median, in the leftmost eastbound lane of traffic.
