The Nakusp, British Columbia graticule is located at latitude 50, longitude -117 in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. Nakusp is the largest city with a population of 1,500. The area is known for its abundance of hot springs.
Geography
This is a highly isolated area due to the geography. The western edge of the graticule contains Upper Arrow Lake which extends from the north end past the south end. Three ferry routes shuttle vehicles across the lake. The northern edge and the neighboring eastern graticule contain some of the most dramatic peaks and glaciers of the Columbia Mountains. The only uninterrupted access is from the south.
