The Middlesbrough graticule is at latitude 54, longitude -1. It is centred on Middlesbrough contains the city of Sunderland, most of the city of Newcastle upon tyne and the towns of Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees. It extends as far as Gateshead and in the North, and Ripon in the South. It is focused around the route of the A19 from the A1 to the Tyne Tunnel
Expeditions
- 2008-06-03: a field near Brandon. This was almost reached by Bluecont.
- 2008-06-21: Northern Stage cafe/restaurant. This was apparantly visited by Lewis Bell, but no documentation seems to exist.
- 2009-12-12: A Saturday meet-up in somebody's back garden - reached as close as possible by Naomi.
- 2018-02-26: jsk ran to a residential street in Spennymoor.
