I just took my beautiful German bike out of the box and put it back together! Now if it would just stop raining for long enough, I can ride it to school tomorrow! Those are some awesome pictures of you biking through the snow. Tell Manu I say Hi, and congratulations!

:Hi! Good to hear, that it savely arrived in Vancouver! The trip yesterday was my first (!) this year. You may imagine, how badly weather conditions are in Germany these days. Have fun with the bike and show it (and us) some more beautiful hashpoints!--Reinhard 09:04, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Commuting 60km 3 days a week certainly helps. Note that I'm only at the bottom end of the top 10 in the yacf.co.uk group on mycyclinglog.

Winter was indeed a lot less bad than last year(and I bought Marathon Winter tyres last winter, so when the snow came I could still do some distance), and remember everything is flat where I live, so distance is pretty easy to gain. Elevation is an entire other matter.

After London-Edinburgh-London in 2009 and Mille Miglia ( http://www.1001migliaitalia.it/ ) in 2010 I'm aiming for Paris-Brest-Paris this year.--Arvid 07:01, 25 March 2011 (EDT)

The thing with the t-shirts is simple. I've been to lots of concerts with weirdo bands and I'm really proud of the t-shirt "that proves I was there" so I try to immortalize the bands by wearing them to my hashes, especially my virgin ones. That is the story behind them. Take care... --Cjk 17:51, 19 February 2012 (EST)

Please show a photo of your Garmin with the actual time, for that I have a proof of identical times of your camera and Garmin. I was at the Suhl meetup too, but your and mine time information show the same time, but I didn't see you. --GeorgDerReisende (talk) 05:39, 22 April 2014 (EDT)

:Hello Georg, there might be a slight time shift of some minutes between real time and the one in our camera. I'll check that in the evening. We'll also have a look into our tracklog which will give us the exact time of arriving and leaving the hashpoint. Since we stayed there only for few minutes, we probably just left (the main road further uphill) before you arrived.--Reinhard (talk) 06:54, 22 April 2014 (EDT)

Hi Reinhard, the above haspoint might be interesting for you and manu even tho its probably above 70km one-way. And I would be interested in actually meeting some other geohashers for ones. :)

If you guys plan something just leave a note on the expedition page. Greetings TFTD (talk)

:Hello TFTD, we won't have the time today, but another suiting geohash will come for sure! We might visit tomorrow's geohash in 50 10. Leave us a note, if you could visit that one. Greetings, --Reinhard (talk) 04:19, 10 May 2014 (EDT)

Cycling the distance

Yes, I'm at 3021km for the year now: http://www.mycyclinglog.com/profile/arvid Commuting 60km 3 days a week certainly helps. Note that I'm only at the bottom end of the top 10 in the yacf.co.uk group on mycyclinglog.

The T-shirts

I've missed that pages I've created aren't automatically watched so I've missed some comments. Sorry about that.

The thing with the t-shirts is simple. I've been to lots of concerts with weirdo bands and I'm really proud of the t-shirt "that proves I was there" so I try to immortalize the bands by wearing them to my hashes, especially my virgin ones.
