Expedition

Reinhard and Manu were visiting Reinhard's family on this weekend in Erfurt. The Saturday hash was so close to Reinhard's home, that they decided to go for their first walk geohash. It was only 2.8 km through the southern part of Erfurt and into the forest, where the hashpoint was located on a walking path. Reinhard was aware of taking that path before several times and he even found an old tracklog showing that he rode on that way less than one year before. Enough proof for a perfect Déjà Vu Geohash!

It had rained a bit that day, but the expedition didn't get very muddy - at least on that first part. Manu and Reinhard took a nice (and muddier) way back to Reinhard's home. When they came close to it, Reinhard had the idea of getting another Tron achievement - this time on flaming feet instead of a flaming bike tron vehicle. So they chose a small loop to reach Reinhard's house from the other direction (look here for the trip).

Manu and Reinhard earned the Tron achievement by reaching and returning from the (50, 11) geohash without crossing their own tracks on 2009-07-18.
