Who?

Lol-asg.png 43 / m / 32,-117

Richard Soderberg, of floating atoll.

Why?

When I was growing up my great-grandparents had a map of the world with hundreds of pins on it, one for each location. I've continued that tradition with digital photography and geotagging.

How?

I have a GlobalSat BT-335 and a Droid. If there's cellular data service, I can load the maps, too.

What?

I set up a Twitter account, @globalhash, so that I can see if the globalhash is anywhere near me. It posts once a day with lat/long metadata attached.

I wrote a proposal suggesting that the globalhash be added to the day templates, with a live example using newly-created wiki templates. It was accepted!
