About

On the side yard of a house in Marietta Georgia

Expedition

NWoodruff

This Geohash is 3 miles from where I work. I've attempted to make this Geohash spot at lunch time. I knocked on the door and nobody was home. I got to 44 feet to go but not close enough. I will attempt once again after work around 5pm.

On my second attempt after work, I arrived about 5:30pm. I noticed a light on in the house which was a good sign. I knocked on the door and a woman about my age answered. I gave her the short version of Geohashing and asked permission to access her back yard. She said that would be fine.

I walked into the back yard and found the closest point with out going inside the house, at 29 feet. That is 3 feet inside the 10 meter requirement. I took a few pictures then walked back to the front door to thank the woman and to let her know that I was on my way.
