Expedition

What a fun way to spend the morning! It ended up being about a four and a half hour bike ride over about 30 miles.

I planned my route so that I could cross the pedestrian footbridge on Denver's D2 Bike Route. It's one of the neatest spots around. It's always so windy up there. Next time I get the opportunity to, I should bring my kite and fly it off the top of the bridge. This is me discovering it late 2009.

Later, on the other side of town, I got on trail system and followed Clear Creek, which I've ridden plenty of times, and Ralston Creek, which I had never ridden.

Snatched a few photos of a small dam along the way, and had to detour around Creek Side Park in Arvada. Closed for construction.

Arrived at the hashsite with little trouble, stopped to hydrate and have a snack. I tried to tweet my location, but it didn't get very specific.

I backtracked and continued up north to the Clear Creek/South Platte River Confluence before turning back home.

Good ride!

TNLN, Thanks for the hash!
