Expedition
This was our first expedition by bike. We still covered most of the distance by train, though. Our students' tickets allowed us to go to Zwingenberg for free. We left there in order to cycle the remaining 13 km to the hashpoint. After about 10 km, fivetonsofflax claimed we had already reached the hashpoint, but found out that his GPS software had merely crashed. We had a very nice spring weather so the expedition was pretty pleasant. Euterkuh, who was using his bike for the first time in two years, was rather slow and mentioned that he didn't remember how exhausting cycling is. On non-paved tracks, however, he had an advantage, riding a mountain-bike.
On the way back, we had ice-cream in a café and enjoyed life. Later, we passed two boys playing football, and Euterkuh advised them, out of the blue: "Don't cheat!". They concurred.
