I live in a small town near Nuremberg and Erlangen. so my graticule is 49, 11, that‘s in the southeast region of Germany.
Because I have only rarely the possibility to use a car I will mostly go by bike, thus my range is limited to about 25km.
Also I do not look up the geohash position daily, hopefully I will be lucky and check the right days.

Expeditions

1. 2010-09-15 49 11. My first expedition. Went by bike about 5km, so pretty easy.
2. 2010-09-27 49 11. Hash was in the Reichswald and I took my bike again, totally about 30km.
3. 2010-11-05 49 11. My bike broke down so I had to walk about 10km and earned the no trespassing consolation prize.
4. 2010-12-02 49 11. Reached the hash by walking 2km through the lovely, snow-filled nature.
5. 2011-03-02 49 11. Another very close walking geohash.
6. 2021-04-29 49 10. A drive-by hash after long absence
7. 2023-03-09 49 11. Hash in a field near Höfles, small bike tour there (25km)
8. 2023-08-18 49 11. In a forest near Ermreuth

pbnoxious earned the Frozen Geohash Achievement by reaching the (49, 11) geohash on 2010-12-02 while the temperature was -7°C.
