:Walking on the grass isn't illegal, but if the lawn belongs to a residential building it's at least questionable, whether it's okay to step onto it even if you're neither a resident nor a guest of a resident of this house. Walking on the grass isn't illegal, but if the lawn belongs to a residential building it's at least questionable, whether it's okay to step onto it even if you're neither a resident nor a guest of a resident of this house.
