YEEEES! I finally got it! After no less than three failed attempts, one of which almost got me shot, another one that took from 6:45 PM one night to 4:30 AM the next morning and 85 km of biking, and a third which I've been too lazy to document, the hash finally situates itself practically outside my doorstep. WanderingStick was sadly unable to come along, seeing as he was occupied at a birthday party and also unable to bike due to some recent surgery, but he was with us in spirit. I brought my girlfriend along instead.

Oh, ActiveGeohasher, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: You managed to alert me that this day's coordinates would be less than 6 km from my house, and on a saturday where I have nothing else to do. I recently got an iPhone, too, which means no more looking at Google Maps-printouts to find out where the exact location is, so this could hardly be more ideal.

We left around 8 PM, seeing as we had plenty of time to get there. It was almost pitch black, but that didn't really hinder us. After some 30-45 minutes of slow, leisurely travel with the wind against us, we found the field where the point was located. Harvest season is slowly ending, so instead of the tall crops which had previously hindered me and WanderingStick, it was pretty much flat. The hash was at the edge of the field.

Due to the iPhone GPS app only being accurate to within roughly 50 ft, I'm not entirely sure when I passed the point, but I made sure to wander around a small circle just to be sure I passed it. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, OH HELL YES! This cherry done been popped. Aaaaaw yeah.
