So, it has come to this. You stumbled upon my profile and out of curiosity? admiration? feeling better by browsing 'inferior' peoples profiles? ...? you want more information. A few basic facts is all there is here. If that doesn't satisfy your needs, contact me and I'll see what I can do.
I have been geocaching for some time (first found april 2006), though my enthusiasm for geocaching has declined recently because the map is getting filled with trivial no-brainer traditionals and numbers are all that matters to some (not to say most). I got to know about geohashing from a colleague at work who read an article about geohashing at the xkcd blag and I instantly liked the idea.
My home graticule switches between Bruxelles, Belgium (most weekdays; near Leuven) and Rotterdam, Netherlands (mostly weekends; near Antwerp). I move around by bike, feet, train and sometimes carpooling. The GPS-unit I currently use is a Garmin Oregon 200.
