Hi!!
I got into geohashing (like so many others, I'm sure) because of the xkcd comic about it. I'm a native New Yorker (40, -73), which is kind of frustrating because my graticule is approximately 60% water and 30% Long Island, but no matter. Like many New Yorkers, I don't have a car and am very busy, but I will still try to geohash when I can.
