Erosive Landforms in the Microcosm
Location
The hashpoint is on a utility corridor (gas pipeline, petroleum pipeline, electrical powerlines, and possibly more all going the same way) on the side of a bluff just south of State Route 56 at Carmel Creek Road.

A car was employed to transport the hasher from his house in Poway to an apartment complex at the southern terminus of Carmel Creek Road in San Diego, near the juncture of Carmel Valley and Sorrento Valley. Upon reaching the complex, the hasher disembarked and proceeded up a steep, narrow trail up the bluffs. Upon reaching the top of the bluff, some time was taken to record the geological and biological features of the bluff, including some rather spectacular erosive landforms. The hasher then proceeded to the hashpoint, located on a slope inclined about 60° from the horizontal, recorded the location with screenshots of the Geohash Droid app on his smartphone, and left.

Exhibit A. This cleft is the northern side of the ridge containing the hashpoint.
Exhibit B. Hard sandstone atop the bluffs. The sediments underneath this hard layer are comparable to volcanic tuff in terms of erosibility and foreign body inclusions.

Exhibit K. Erosive landforms. A forest of tiny hoodoos. The pink stone atop the "large" hoodoo in the centee of the frame is about five centimeters across.
Exhibit L. Flora and erosive landforms. This barrelesque succulent has lost much of the soil that once surrounded it, but its presence has lessened the effects of erosion in its immediate vicinity, engendering an effect similar to the Devil's Cornfield in Death Valley.
Exhibit M. Flora and erosive landforms. Plant growths serve as the capstones on another forest of small hoodoos, again similar to the Devil's Cornfield. These are about 3mm in height.
Exhibit N. Flora. This cactus is about 2m from the hashpoint. The hasher tripped and fell (albeit lightly) into this cactus.
Exhibit O. The hashpoint is immediately above the bush in the middle of the bottom of the frame.
