It looked like it might be possible to get close, but after heading back and forth on the really windy road (Skyline) to get close to the hashpoint, I found that the road I hoped to take to get close wasn't as open as I expected. It said "No Trespassing", so I turned around and headed home.

Actually, I continued on in the same direction, which was a mistake. I passed the hashpoint again a half hour later as I backtracked.
