Location

On a field near Frieding, a small village on the very southern edge of the München graticule

Participants

Scherzkeks, The_T-Man

Plans

This was totally spontaneous. Scherzkeks wanted to go to a lake, so before we took off, I routinely checked that day's coordinates and - what do you know - they're just a few kilometers from beautiful Ammersee!

Expedition

We traveled by car to be able to reach all the various locations as we wanted to. Getting out of the city was a bit tricky, because currently there is a huge construction site for a tunnel that will facilitate leaving the city towards SW. My most sincere compliments go out to the guy who planned the construction site in such a way that you can still pass through at all times. After that, reaching the nice village of Frieding (population: about 200) was quite easy. We parked the car and walked towards the hashpoint, which lay, however, right in the middle of a large field of barley that was soon to be harvested. Since geohashing is not about destroying economic plants, we just enjoyed the view and continued to the lake, where we spent a nice afternoon.
