Rincewind called Mampfred at 10pm for a spontaneous adventure. Five minutes later they were off.
It was only a short drive followed by a 600 meter walk onto a field in the dark. Easy hash ...
... maybe apart from the very eerie, constant screaming from some bird(?) a hundred meters or so off, which in connection with rather a lot of torn fur from some animal on a large part of the way somehow disconcerted Rincewind, who is all against being eaten.
