Just off Hwy 219 south of Hillsboro
Participants
Plans
Well, it is very close to home. In fact, I drive by it most days.
However, it is also in Jackson Bottom wildlife refuge, which makes accessing it pretty tricky.
I believe that it has corn on it in the summer, and is very soggy in the winter.
I sent a note off to the Portland Geohashers mailing list, but haven't seen any replies.
Expedition
Well, no one else expressed any interest, so I just went by on my way to visit with folks in the morning.
Needless to say, the GPS pointed off into the field off Hwy 219 as expected. I waved at the hashpoint as I passed by, and continued on.
