Plan

First I only had in mind to find some geocaches this afternoon, but doing that I thougt I schuld not pass up the opportunity to get to todays hashpoint - my first expedition this year.

Expedition

I had only 2.5 hours to get from Bensheim in Hesse to Nierstein in Rhineland-Palatinate and back, but there are no bridges between Worms and Mainz. So I had to use the car ferry from Kornsand to Nierstein and back. The cost was 7.00 €. But I love sailing by ferry.

When I reached the ferry, it just arrived at the Hessian side of the River (the water was very low). It departed with only 10 cars on it. The hashpoint was located south of Nierstein and easy to find. A nice view over the city to the Rhine.

On my way back the ferry was just ready to start again.  :-)
