As planed I started at home at 8:30 on my bull and reached the hash around 9 am. It lies on a field with smal green plants (salad?). I entered the field but was not very mush in hashdancing as I still had to go to work and my shoes were already very muddy. So I didn't get any closer than 3 m and the foto even stayed 5 m away, but since there was just the maximum of 3 salads between me and the hashpoint I count that as reached (if anyone disagrees, I could decide for chickend out as I had not reached this achievement yet). The way back to Speyer runs along an old branch of the river rhine, before it ends at the bridge in Speyer into my usual way to work (with a detour of 16 KM it doubles the usual way to the office).

Plans

To ride along on my way to work.

Expedition

On its way from west to east between 2014-05-24 and 2014-05-27 (from 49.32664206, 7.75786412 to 49.24864842, 8.82943213) the hashpoint got realy near to my home and as I could neither do any hashing on mouse over day nor on towel day, because I had to do my taxes, I just couldn't leave this opportunity.

Photos

I found this new tool "komoot" which works great for geohashing. You can plan your way to the hash, especially when your going by bike or foot, and it leads you the planed way with language-support and tracks your route and speed-profile. Today I tried how it manages photos. You can start your camera from the app and the pictures were stored inside the app and uploaded when you gain internetaccess. At least in theory. In praxis, when you shoot down your tablet without storing the actual tour your track is lost as your photos are.

I'm sorry, but due to my own inability in using a tool there are no pictures and no proof of my success except the inexact tracklog.
