Location
Just south of Donner Lake, on South Shore Drive (in the street, according to Google Maps), in the Truckee, California graticule.

Almost none. I was in Truckee for work which ended early that morning, checked the hash point, and noticed that it looked quite reachable. So I drove out, figured out the point, and took a couple of blurry pictures.
Expedition
I drove from the Starbucks in Truckee to the hashpoint, then past the point so I could turn around. I parked nearby, and walked around until my phone's geohash app told me I was close enough. The hashpoint seems to be in front of 14210 South Shore Drive, so I took a picture of that house
