Plans

First bike ride of the year? It's supposed to be around 50 F (10 C) on Sunday and nice so I will get out the mountain bike and see if this hash is accessible. It's only about 6 Miles (10 KM) from my house, but we will have to see if there are any signs prohibiting access when I get close. Will go in the late morning which should give me plenty of time to meet some friends for a hike in the afternoon with the dogs.

Expedition

With it nice and warm, I got my bike ready and was off to the hash around 10:30 or so. I made really good time getting to the hash, because it turns out I had a strong wind at my back.

Finding my way to the industrial park, I saw there was an open gate but I thought for sure there would be posted signs. Surprisingly, there was only one and that was about deliveries. With no one in the booth on a Sunday, I moseyed on over to the hash area next to the tracks. I waded into the high but dead plants to the hash and got a 0.00 reading. Nice!

I got some pictures of the area and made my way home much slower due to the headwind. I stopped at another industrial building on the way back to get a picture because it amused me. I wonder what the company really makes.
